FULL-TIME TALKING HEAD VIDEO EDITOR (AFTER EFFECTS & MOTION DESIGN)

We specialise in creating high-performing talking-head videos designed for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube combining storytelling, cinematic editing, and motion design to maximise engagement and retention.
We’re looking for an editor who understands that great edits don’t just look good they keep people watching.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a full-time Talking Head Video Editor with advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to join our growing creative team.
Your primary responsibility will be transforming founder videos, educational content, interviews and personal brand content into premium, highly engaging social media videos.
This isn’t a basic editing role.
You’ll be expected to use motion design, typography, animation, visual storytelling and pacing to elevate every edit while maintaining a polished corporate aesthetic.
If you enjoy studying creators like Alex Hormozi, Ali Abdaal, MrWhosetheBoss, Colin & Samir, or high-end LinkedIn creators, you’ll fit right in.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit engaging talking-head videos for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- Create premium motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects.
- Animate text, icons, UI elements, charts, infographics and visual callouts.
- Design scroll-stopping intros and visual hooks that improve audience retention.
- Use zooms, punch-ins, masking, tracking, speed ramps and dynamic transitions where appropriate.
- Source and integrate relevant B-roll, stock footage and graphics.
- Add captions, subtitles and kinetic typography.
- Perform basic sound design, music mixing and audio clean-up.
- Colour correct footage to maintain a premium and consistent visual style.
- Organise project files and maintain efficient editing workflows.
- Collaborate with our creative team to execute creative briefs and revisions.
- Deliver projects on time while maintaining exceptional quality.
REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
- Excellent motion design and animation skills.
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography and design principles.
- Experience editing talking-head content for social media.
- Strong understanding of retention editing and viewer psychology.
- Ability to create engaging edits without relying on excessive effects.
- Strong storytelling instincts and attention to pacing.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Strong file organisation and workflow management.
- Ability to receive feedback and iterate quickly.
- A high-quality portfolio or showreel demonstrating your best work.
BONUS SKILLS
- Advanced motion graphics.
- 2D animation.
- Character rigging or illustration animation.
- Colour grading using Lumetri
- Audio enhancement and sound design.
- Photoshop or Illustrator experience.
- Experience working with founders, creators or personal brands.
- Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools and workflows.
