We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the organization, providing strategic financial leadership, and ensuring the long-term financial health and sustainability of the company. This is a critical role that involves overseeing all financial planning, reporting, risk management, and compliance activities while partnering closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to drive organizational growth and profitability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic financial leadership and counsel to the CEO, Board of Directors, and executive management team on all fiscal matters
  • Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, audit, and compliance functions
  • Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and long-term growth plans
  • Prepare and present accurate, timely financial reports, statements, and analyses to the Board of Directors and key stakeholders
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and implement robust financial controls, policies, and procedures across the organization
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital structure to ensure optimal liquidity and financial stability
  • Oversee risk management frameworks, identifying and mitigating financial, operational, and regulatory risks
  • Lead and mentor the finance department, building a high-performing team and fostering professional development
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, regulatory bodies, tax authorities, and financial institutions
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives and identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and operational efficiency
  • Spearhead fundraising efforts, manage investor relations, and evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships
  • Ensure full compliance with Nigerian financial regulations, IFRS standards, tax obligations, and corporate governance requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred
  • Professional certification such as CFA, ACCA, ICAN, or CPA is required
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a C-suite or senior executive finance role
  • Deep knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations, tax laws, IFRS standards, and corporate governance frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis, treasury management, and capital allocation strategies
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale budgets exceeding ₦1 billion and leading cross-functional finance teams
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, and investor relations
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced financial modeling tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage board members, investors, and senior stakeholders
  • Impeccable integrity, ethical standards, and a commitment to transparency in financial reporting

Pay: ₦8,000,000.00 – ₦15,000,000.00 per month
