ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and creative EYFS Teacher to join our early years team. The ideal candidate should be committed to creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment that supports the developmental needs of young learners.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework while fostering curiosity, confidence, and foundational learning skills in children.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate lessons and activities
- Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and development
- Maintain accurate classroom and pupil records
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards are upheld at all times
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil growth
- Prepare learning materials and classroom resources effectively
- Encourage positive behaviour and classroom participation
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Experience working within an EYFS setting
- Strong understanding of child development and early years learning practices
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Patient, creative, energetic, and nurturing personality
- Ability to work collaboratively within a school environment
ADDED ADVANTAGE
- EYFS certification or Montessori training
- Previous experience in a British curriculum school
