Job Title: General Manager – Outsourcing & Workforce Solutions
Company: LN Outsourcing Limited
Location: Lagos (Mainland) , Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Managing Director

About Us
Established in 2003, LN Outsourcing Limited is a Nigerian outsourcing and BPO firm providing manpower outsourcing, recruitment, training, payroll administration, and managed workforce services. We have deployed thousands of trained personnel for telecommunications, FMCG, and enterprise clients across Nigeria and West Africa. We handle the people and processes so our clients can focus on their core business.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced General Manager to take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the business. You will coordinate our teams, ensure excellent delivery on every client contract, and build the structure, systems and people needed for the company’s next stage of growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who brings order, accountability and pace to a busy operation, and who can later build and lead a business development function.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Coordination

  • Take full responsibility for daily operations across recruitment, deployment, payroll administration, and client service.
  • Coordinate the work of all departments so that priorities, deadlines and resources are aligned.
  • Ensure every client contract is delivered to agreed service levels, on time and within budget.
  • Resolve operational issues and escalations quickly, so they don’t need to reach executive level.
  • Set up clear reporting lines, routines and meeting rhythms, and send the Executive Chairman regular reports on performance, risks and decisions needed.
  • Develop and track KPIs for each function, and hold team leads accountable for results.

People & Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach and manage the heads of recruitment, operations, payroll and client service.
  • Identify gaps in the team and lead the recruitment of key hires, starting with a Business Development Manager.
  • Build a culture of ownership, discipline and service excellence across the business.
  • Oversee the welfare, discipline and performance management of deployed staff, in line with client requirements and company policy.

Finance, Compliance & Systems

  • Manage operating budgets, control costs, and protect contract margins.
  • Ensure timely client invoicing and follow up on collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labour laws, statutory remittances (PAYE, pension, NSITF, ITF), and client contract terms.
  • Strengthen internal processes, controls and systems, including HR and payroll platforms, to improve efficiency and scalability.

Client Relationships & Growth

  • Serve as the senior point of contact for key clients, building strong relationships and ensuring high satisfaction.
  • Protect existing revenue through proactive account management, service reviews and contract renewals.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts.
  • Once the BD Manager is in place, set up and oversee the business development function, including targets, pipeline reviews and proposal quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification (CIPM, CIPD, NIM) is a strong advantage.
  • 8–12 years’ experience, with at least 4 years in a senior operations or general management role within outsourcing, staffing, HR services, or BPO.
  • A proven record of running multi-department operations and managing large deployed workforces across multiple client contracts.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian labour laws, outsourcing contract structures, payroll and statutory compliance.
  • Solid financial skills, including budgeting, cost control, margin management and cash-flow discipline.
  • Excellent leadership, organisation, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Calm under pressure, highly organised, and comfortable making decisions and taking ownership.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary plus performance bonus.
  • Health insurance (HMO) and pension.
  • A senior leadership role reporting directly to the CEO.
  • The opportunity to shape the structure and growth of a well-established business.
