Salary: ₦700,000 – ₦800,000 Net Monthly

About the Role

Our client is a renewable energy company providing sustainable and cost-effective solar power solutions across urban and rural communities in Nigeria.

They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of assigned projects, including internally owned projects such as mini-grids and captive power assets, as well as client projects involving EPC contracts.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Experience managing energy or renewable energy projects is a strong advantage; however, candidates with solid project management experience in other industries are encouraged to apply.

Please note: This role requires strong multitasking abilities and frequent travel to project locations across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from initiation through completion.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, resources, and milestones.
• Coordinate and maintain effective relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and expenditures to ensure financial control.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Track project performance and prepare regular progress reports for management and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and operational efficiency.
• Provide technical oversight and ensure projects meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and delivery standards.
• Conduct regular site visits and monitor project activities at various locations across Nigeria.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Experience managing energy, renewable energy, construction, engineering, or related projects is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is mandatory.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project and Gantt charts.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and risk-management abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to project locations across Nigeria.

Pay: ₦700,000.00 – ₦800,000.00 per month
