We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to join our executive leadership team. The CHRO will serve as a key partner to the CEO and Board of Directors, leading all aspects of human capital management, organizational development, and workforce strategy. This senior executive role is responsible for shaping and driving the people agenda across the organization, ensuring that our organization attracts, develops, and retains world-class talent while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the overall human resources strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives, vision, and growth plans
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team on all people-related matters, including workforce planning, organizational design, and culture transformation
  • Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, learning and development, performance management, employee relations, and compliance
  • Design and implement competitive compensation structures, benefits programs, and incentive plans to attract and retain top talent in the recruitment industry
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to build a workplace culture that values and leverages diverse perspectives
  • Lead organizational development efforts including leadership development programs, succession planning, and executive coaching
  • Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labor laws, statutory requirements, and industry best practices across all HR policies and procedures
  • Drive digital transformation of HR processes by implementing and optimizing HRIS, analytics tools, and automation to enhance operational efficiency
  • Develop and monitor key HR metrics, dashboards, and reports to provide data-driven insights to the board and executive team
  • Manage employee engagement strategies, conduct regular culture assessments, and implement initiatives to maintain high levels of employee satisfaction and productivity
  • Oversee the management of industrial and employee relations, ensuring harmonious workplace relationships and effective grievance resolution
  • Build and lead a high-performing HR team, providing mentorship, professional development, and clear performance expectations

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 7 years in a senior executive HR leadership role
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPM, or equivalent is required
  • Demonstrated experience leading HR strategy and operations in organizations with 500+ employees
  • Deep knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, employment regulations, and compliance frameworks
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning strategies
  • Experience with HR technology platforms, HRIS systems, and data-driven decision-making
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and advise C-suite leaders and board members
  • Experience managing organizational change, mergers, restructuring, or rapid growth environments
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

Pay: ₦8,000,000.00 – ₦15,000,000.00 per month
